1966 GTO Burgundy Metallic
Posted by Samiches on Sunday, September 16, 2018 6:03 PM

Working from an Ebay 1998 issued kit.  Unfortunately, none of the decals were salvageable.  I used some homemade decals, and some cleaver bare metal foiling.  My 2nd kit made this year, which is twice as many as last year!  Yay for progress!

Some handmade wood grain.

So shiny!

You've made the GTO look tough and beautiful at the same time.  Top job.  Cheers

How on earth did you get that chrome strip down the side so nice?!

Really nice! Great color choice and sharp detailing. Good to see another one of your builds: it seems like it's been a while (or is it just me?). Thumbs Up

I think you may be referencing the white pinstripe decal.  It is from the new released kit that I stole for this build.

It has been a while. I've been a lot more busy with work the last couple of years.
