Posted by Kenneth Gibson on Thursday, March 15, 2018 2:43 PM

Hello! I have built a Replica of Lee one, the first General Lee of the Most famous television series “The Dukes of Hazzard” jumped in 1978 to be seen in season one episode one “One armed Bandits” and every intro after as they jump over the patrol car at the end of the intros! Here it is as it would’ve looked on Set.(I didnt have a set of cross flags here it is from IMGUR

Nice job getting the door numbers on crooked, just like the real car. I might have some crossed flags left in my decal stash if you want them.

It did, I still have yet to do the Vinyl top trim that was on the car, it’s still kinda a work in progress :)

I love how the underhood details are rough and how the brown/gold paint is still plainly visible there too! Because, even though they don't show it, we know the television studio WOULD NOT have spent any time detailing a car they knew they were just going to destroy later.

That same car also made a second appearance later in the season as a car Richard Petty supposedly wrecked in a race. Episode 4 was called "Repo Men". The car was repainted dark blue and was already bottomed out from the jump, but body men 'embellished' more damage before shooting the scene by using concrete blocks and sledge hammers.

Now that car would make a great companion to this car! A before and after.
