1977 Trans Am

Had two builds going at the same time, and I actually kept the progress equal, and finished them within a week of each other. This one was completed first, and the other is a '70 Chevelle that I will post separately.

Year/Make/Model: 1977 Pontiac Trans Am
Kit: Revell Smokey & The Bandit
Color: Tamiya Italian Red (TS-8)
Clearcoat: Testors Wet Look Clear lacquer
Trim: Bare Metal foil
Interior: Tamiya Light Sand (TS-46)
Carpeted interior
Wheels: Steven Zimmerman
Tires: From a set of Jimmy Flintstone metal wheels (on clearance at my LHS)
Decals: Bird on hood is from the Monogram '78 Firebird kit. All lettering decals by Keith Marks. I liked the "400" designation for the shaker scoop, even though I think they only used this on the earlier years.

Nice job on the Firebird. I really like the photo of the three together.

Love it. Need those wheels for a future 1970 Trans Am project.
