Too true!

Got the wheels sorted, they came from the parts box so dont ask what they are!

They look pretty smart methinks.

The engine is sorted too,it is a tiny V10 from  a Viper...

Ran into a curious problem today, one rear wheel was sticking out too far and upon checking the prob I noticed that the stubs were a different length...

It was easily solved by trimming one side of the axle.

Just a shot of the engine.

Got the rear valance on,as well as a pair of traction bars - with a V10 it will  be needed..

As well as the custom front roll pan, being an older kit it has load of custom parts.

The wheels are very interesting. I actually am quite curious what they came from, but of course I'm not asking.

Sweet. 49, n 50 are probably in my top 15 maybe top 10 favorites as far as old american steel goes. I am doing AMTs 50 ford now. But since the axle goes through the block, ( never knew ford made a front wheel drive flathead.) I may not get it as low as i want.

Used the Molotow pen on speedo, radio, pedals and the nut behind the wheel.

Got the underside done flat black and did a few nuts/bolts with the Molotow pen again.

Got the V10 in,I knew it was going to be tight so the radiator will have to go in at the bulkhead some imagineering here!

Also fitted a pair of heavy duty shocks - off a 4wd.

Just an overview.

the orange accent on the rims looks great.  I have gotta do a model some day just to try that salt method.
