Nice paint booth, SFD! I'll have to give that a try! Since I have to paint outside I've been having some luck painting on the covered patio, although I don't paint when the pollen is flying like it is now and for the next couple of weeks.

Idont, if the plastic is crazed I don't think that thick primer is gonna work. It may look like the problem is solved but when you put on color it may come back. You probably will have to sand it out or get a new hood. Just my My 2 Cents

If you cannot have a good time, what kinda time can you have? JR

Next on the bench:  Another 1970 Hemi 'Cuda, 1958 Chevy Impala, 1987 Buick GNX, 1950 Chevy Pick-up, Indy Reynard, 1965 Corvette, probably not in this order.

After too many house projects to count, and redoing the paint several times, I’ve finally gotten it done.  It being my first car model since before I could drive, I’d give myself a B-/C+.  It certainly was a learning curve.  I was trying a lot of new techniques on top of relearning the old ones.  I know outdoor pics are preferred, but this is better viewed from a distance.  With poor lighting.  And your eyes half closed.  Thanks to all who helped along the way with tips, parts and encouragement.  Onward & upward!

Oh, for SFD:

I did the box thing for a bit, but for me, if it's worth doing, it's worth overdoing.

Your car turned out so well. Never would have believed that's a first one in oh so long

Wow

I am so glad I caught this RR freshly built! ...And you did the headliner thing! Yes I like the weathered engine and the hood detail, the wheels and the tires are great, too. What body color is it?

Congratulations!
