«Bullitt» '68 Dodge Charger R/T
Posted by nuno22467 on Friday, June 17, 2011 8:47 PM

Hi everyone,

Just finished this beauty in black. Nothing new, just my approach to the Charger driven by the bad guys in the classic car chase «Bullitt». Vynil roof and Pe sets from MCG.

Hope youy like it!

Cheers,

Nuno.

Well done, Nuno, they both look great, especially the Charger. I have the dvd, and both kits in my to-do stash. I hope my vinyl roof looks as good as yours, I haven't done one before.

Cheers

Hi,

Thank you for your kind words. It was also my first vynil roof, I was saving it for this model. Although it isn't hard to apply, I think it got a bit wrinkled too much for the scale. The adhesive was not enough, I should have put extra glue... or perhaps not. I know there are a lot of technics for vynil simulation, but MCG products work just fine on these classics.

Cheers,

Nuno.

looks sweet. vinyl looks convincing. i see you used the dog dish caps, that's a good idea, since the correct hubcaps are hard to come by.
