This is a Revell kit. I made the mistake of using Zinc Chromate primer on the frame, because the instructions recommended a "red primer." However, what I hadn't realized was that it would have gone along much better with a dark red flat paint as recommended and used in the box art, but I intended to use Testor's One Coat Root Beer lacquer for the body, and the only flat red I had was an enamel, which I really did not want to use. If I had to do it over again, I would use a flat black for the frame. The headers I chose were included in the kit as unchromed, but they looked more impressive than the chromed headers, and I felt I could do them some justice with Alclad Chrome. Somehow I lost the gas pedal, and the only substitute I had included the brake and clutch pedals. I decided to replace all three and the shifter, which looked about 4 scale feet long.
