This 1956 Mercury Montclair is a resin kit from Hendrix Manufacturing. The finish is Testor's Light Blue enamel, and the bumpers were painted with Alclad II. The interior, frame, and engine from came from a 1956 Ford donor kit.
Like the colors lot a BMF on this build
Thanks, harleyed. Those were the days when chrome was king!
great looking Merc, nice job...
One of my favorite cars; an uncle of mine bought one new in 1956; it was red and white and bitchin'. I have been looking for a '55 or '56 Merc and now I know where to get it. This is a big deal as I usually only build gassers and street freaks! I know how much work resin kits are, kudos on a great job.
Thanks for the nice comments.
