1964 Ford Thunderbolt

"I really enjoyed building this kit! I will be building another that I bought on eBay, but I will make it a convertible. The current iteration of this release, Revell No. 85-2076 Ford Fairlane Street Machine, has been discontinued, so if you want this one you'll have to look around to find a shop that still has some in stock. This one was airbrushed Wicked Burnt Orange, with two coats of Alclad Aquagloss (the highest shining acrylic I've found to date). My masking still leaves a lot to be desired, and I'm still having trouble with Alclad Chrome on areas such as window frames. I broke down and tried some Bare-Metal foil. This is the first time I tried to do a window frame in BMF, and it went pretty well - certainly a lot less work than masking and airbrushing!"
