Hello and welcome! Lots of good stuff going on here. Are you anywhere close to Halifax by chance?

Hello fellow builders.

My name is Trevor. I built my first model when I was five and was hooked. I was a fanatic builder until I turned 17, when life intervened (first real car, first real girl friend, first real job...you know the story). Except for a period around 1990 when I managed to complete four kits, I have not built for 20 years. I never lost my love for model cars, though, and have kept in touch through magazines such as Scale Auto and others. I have also continued to buy models through the years, and now have about 300 kits stockpiled. I have recently created a model building 'shop' in the basement of my house, and dug all of my unbuilt kits out of the moving boxes in which they were stored, and put them on shelves. I now only have to complete my spray booth, and I am in business. I am getting very excited about this. I will be going slowly at first, as I still have a couple of large projects to take care of around the house, but at least I will be building. This seems like a great site with great people. You will be seeing my name around in the future.

Sorry for the long post, but that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Trevor
