Greetings from East Texas! Back at it after 40+ years

Howdy Scale Auto Folks!    After 40+ years away, I accepted the fact that I can't really afford to play with 1:1 scale stuff and decided to go back to my teenage hobby of model building.  Way back when, I started with kits and progressed to "kit bashing" and building completely from scratch. Most of the time I used bits and pieces from the many kits I'd accumulated to round out the basic stuff I'd built from plactic sheets, rods, tubes, etc. I sure forgot how much fun that was, and I'm having an absolute blast again!   My wife complains about how much time I spend at my desk with my 'toys', so I tell her to add a couple Zero's to my 'hobby budget' and I could move to the garage... LOL!!!!!

It's sure good to be back!

Welcome to the forum, Eric, and welcome back to the hobby. It's better now than it ever was. Enjoy.

Perfection is achieved not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.

Welcome, Eric. Just joined this forum myself a few days ago, but been "lurking" for months and really enjoyed it. We are almost neighbors as I live in Rockwall. Jim aka HotrodLincoln.
