Hello New Here

Hello from Canada!

I'm back into building after about 15 years. It was all I did growing up and my collection was huge. My passion is anything, drag, muscle, stock and most things automotive.

I'm also a stay at home dad now and hobbies are one way to keep my sanity. I am also very into blacksmithing and fabricating/hacking my own tools.

I'm thoroughly enjoying being back in the scene, especially with all the products and information that's available, it's overwhelming.

Biggest problem so far is my 3 year old loves to try and "help". While him having a bumper stuck to his finger is funny to me, and harmless to him, the wife often disagrees.

Hello back at you from Canada. This is a good place to jump back into the hobby. There is so much available to hobbyists these days that it can be a bit overwhelming, but that's what your forum is for. It's cool your three year old likes to help. When my daughter was three I started her on snap-togethers, which she enjoyed, but what she really loved was squishing hollow vinyl tires in my bench vise.

Perfection is achieved not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.

Haha I can see my son loving to do that. He already takes my old crosspeen and uses it to smash anything he can find in the garden.
