New here and getting back into model drag cars/ pro streets. Can anyone tell me where i can find the hoosier/Goodyear,Firestone wide pro mod slicks? Very few have them on the tires themselves. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks

Welcome to the forum, Mr. doorslammer. This is a good place to jump back into the hobby. Try asking your tire question in the 'Where Can I Get' section of the forum, near the bottom of the main forum page. Cheers.

G'day doorslammer.  If you're looking for the sidewall lettering on the tyres, you might like to have a look at Fireball Modelworks.  He has a good range of white letter tyre decals, including Hoosier, and they are a quality product.  Welcome back to the hobby.  Cheers.

Thanks Steve, that was very helpful. What is the best brand of paint that makes CHROME in a spray can. The very best CHROME spray paint in your opinion? Thanks

If you have an airbrush, spraying Molotow chrome ink produces great results. For smaller chrome applications, get a Molotow chrome pen.

Just be careful with Spazstik because I have had it warp and craze some plastics just like lacquer can. I was really surprised when it happened. I know it was the Spazstik that did it because the parts I painted with the same paint I used under the Spazstik were fine. Some combination I guess yet the same combo didn't do it on other models. I saw it happen on a Japanese (ARII) kit and one Tamiya kit but nothing else including Tamiya so maybe something in the plastic used over there on that kit? In any case, make sure the underlying paint is compatible by testing first on a scrap piece.
