Back into building car models after many years,
Posted by Menerdari on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 12:00 PM

Hi, I am Jim, 59 years old from north east Ohio.

I have been building 1/32 scale planes and 1/35 scale helicopters over the past few years, before that was RC airplanes, high power rockets and a couple of wooden ship models. But now the car bug has bit me. Over the last half year I build the Berverly hillbillies truck, 2 model t coca-cola delivery trucks (one red and one white) a 1941 chevy pickup and just finished a slightly modified Lindberg 1937 Ford convertible (got rid of the gawdy side trim and when with a single strip)  I am now working and a double build 1958 Impala and 1961 Catalina both bodies are primed and ready for color coat.

I still have a large collection of military models but for now I and having a riot working on the cars. I love the forum here and info I have gleaned from it has dramatically improved my builds. Thanks to all of you.

Hello and a belated welcome to this forum.
