Greetings! Another old newbie here!

Hi folks! I am an older modeler in my mid 50s but a complete newbie when it comes to building plastic scale automobiles. I recently built three very easy Snap-Tite kits and now am ready to try building a Monogram/Revell '40 Ford Standard Coup. I have some basic modeling tools and paints. I am ready to start assembly and painting of the engine parts. I hope to learn from the experienced modelers on this most excellent forum. Smile

Welcome to the forum. It's a great place to pick up some tips and advice, and to show off your work. Cheers, and see you around the forum.

Thanks for the welcome! I have been searching through the forum and finding out a lot. This seems like a friendly and knowledgeable place. I am about 1/4 way through this '40 Ford Coupe build and it's been an eye opener. I am learning what not to do...lol.

I do hope to post pics of my builds as soon as I get a new digital camera. The one I used to have was stolen a few months back and I haven't got around to replacing it.

I also collect diecast models. I focus on 1/64, 1/43 and 1/32 scale cars mostly. Hope to see you around the forum as I will have quite a few newbie questions to ask.
