I'm a new oldie

Hello everyone,  I was on here several years ago and due to life happening I was not able to keep up on the forum.  I am closing in on 70  years of age and have been modeling since  9.  At that time I built (or attempted to build) aircraft and boats and my brother and I built the small Highway Pioneers autos where I got hooked on cars.  Later I graduated to 1/24th and 1/25 scale model cars.  I fell away from modeling in the early 70's when I joined the USAF and spent just over twenty years in service.  In the mid 80's I got back into the hobby and am still at it today.  My modeling favorites are vintage dirt track stock cars(modifieds), street rods, 50's and 60's drag cars but I do build in other areas also.  Some other interests outside of modeling include football (both pro and college) hockey, dirt track racing sprints, modifieds, stock cars, NASCAR and a game of golf (when my back isn't acting up).  A big thanks to the site administrators for allowing me to get back on here.  I look forward to chatting with you and sharing tips and tricks. I am fully retired now I also spent 21 years with the state of Nebraska and now I have more time to devote to the hobby. Currently on the bench is the new Ford Bronco (see I told you that I do build in other areas).  Have a great day and I look forward to hearing from you.
