Hello, my name is Jeremy and I'm a recovering model-holic.

Seriously though, it appears that I am one of many here that have returned to the scale model hobby after several years.  I was just reading a few of the introductions in this forum section, and I realized that every one describes me exactly.

I built tons of cars, trucks and airplanes from the late 70's through the mid-90's.  Now, as a father, I'm trying to get my 10-year old interested in some of the fun that I had back when.  Meanwhile, I also discovered that eBay has most of the same kits that I had years ago and now it gives me a chance to rebuild some of them with a little more skill and patience.

As for my addiction, it seems that I've not only fallen from the wagon, but that same wagon has run me over and circled around to came back at me again.

Too funny. Enjoy your addiction to the plastic.

Feelings are like scents: The more they are analyzed, the worse they smell.

Yep, welcome to the "club". Lots of great advice on here. Sharing quality time with a son is a fantastic reason to return to the hobby.
