Howdy folks. I'm new here and I'm excited about getting back into building models again after a 50 some year hiatus! I've just completed a model I bought about a week ago and I loved every minute of it. I never thought I would get back into this hobby that I haven't done since I was a kid but it's a very satisfying pass time and I plan to keep building and starting a good size collection.

Keep up the good work all!

Welcome, Mike L. Your post sounded like it was me writing it! I, and a lot of fellows on here, did the exact thing you have done. Stopped building while still pretty young and jumped back into the hobby as older, wiser, more patient men. LOL! At least that's what we all say! Laugh

Welcome  Mike... Yes, there are numerous kids that returned to model building later in our life. It's not only a hobby, but a great way to relive those glorious days of our youth.

Welcome here Mike from another Mike. I slowed down a lot in my twenties, like maybe 4 builds in that whole decade. Now I build slower but the quality is better.
