So I have been building models for many years on and off. I am getting ready to set up a brand new building station. I think my wife is so done with me having my models on her kitchen table for weeks on end while i wait for drying cycles.

I am setting up a glass desk, for building, and a diorama for display. I had the great Idea to build a model of all the cars I have owned over the years and displaying them in the diorama. I am starting with my high school car 1968 Plymouth Fury 111, I picked up a discontinued edition of this car and am going to try to match the paint and interior to pictures of the car.

I am working on a real 1965 Ford Galaxie 500XL, I am going to build a model of the real car to take pictures an compare them. so many projects.  If you ask anybody I know they would tell you I never run out of projects.

Thanks for the Forum. It is a great place to show what I am building.

I am up against a challange trying to buy the cars though. Like a 1976 Pontiac sunbird. A 2001 monte Carlo that is not NASCAR. Hehe. A few others I already have 1982 tourismo. I am going to be looking for that 72 Dodge polara. I have owned over 20 cars so I am going to maybe have to get creative. I already have garage diorama pieces, and car trailers. My wife will be happy when I move all the cars from around the house to one area.    Thanks again for the forum. It may be valuable in my hunt of cars.

Great fun to build cars you have owned or currently own. I have had good luck with this myself. My first car was a 1950 Oldsmobile which I built and waited for 18 years for it to be released. Also, a 1979 Rally Sport Camaro, a Corvette, a 1984 Monte Carlo Super Sport, 1985 Thunderbird and 1997 Thunderbird. Also a 1973 Dodge Pick up which I still have.

Guys, when an old post is brought up be someone posting some spam, you need to check the date of the original posting.  Jrdragon1 joined almost four years ago and he has only made two postings.
