Hey I'm Josh
Posted by Anonymous on Monday, January 5, 2004 7:59 PM
Hey fellow modelers. I'm Josh and am 15. I have been modeling for three years. I started when I broke my ankle. I have been working on them ever since. I have just gotten into customizing models over the summer. My favorite models to do are trucks because I love trucks. I also do cars that are newer. I'm not into old school cars. I like to smooth the entire car or truck, as best as i can. I want to learn how to lower my models but haven't tried yet. I have the trouble painting the models. I use spray cans but they don't come out very well. I tried to chop a top but it didn't go so well and the model was scraped.
That's me!

Hello Josh and Welcome Aboard.

As far as spray cans go....yeah they take some work to get great results, but it can be done. I still use the occasional rattle can even though I have 2 airbrushes. Might want to check out Matthew Usher's article in FSM(Fine Scale Modeler) for some really good easy tips....
