That's right you fellow modelers and modelerettes, Micheals just put out an AD for black friday and saturday, you get a 50 percent off coupon for one regularly priced item on friday from 12pm to 10pm, and then another coupon for 50 percent off on regularly priced item all day saturday. So guess who is going to be going to micheals?

Yesterday I signed up for the Michael's newsletter.  I immediately got 3 coupns to print out including one for 50% off one item, then a 40% off coupon to print out this morning.  I'll be at Michael's tomorrow.

Now if only my local Michael stores would get some new stock. They've been stocking the same stuff for the past year and a half.

I agree with Roncomatic.  Michael's has all the same stuff all the time.  However...

I took advantage of the 50% off coupon to buy a '64 Chevy lowrider.  I mostly bought it for the 327, wire wheels, and other useable parts.  I tend to be Mopar fixated, but I have a couple other projects that are Chevy based.

The best deal of the day was at an estate sale.  I got a Hurst Hairy Olds with Linda Vaughn figure, 7 other kits, and 5 cans of spray for next to nothing. Love those yard sales.

If you have a project or two in mind that could use a Chevy big block I can recommend Big Lots. I was in a local store this evening and they still had a fairly good supply of '66 Chevelle wagon kits for $5 each. They're worth that just for the big block engine, special wheel/tires/disc brakes and suspension pieces. They also had some caddy donks if you're interested in those. Originally, they had a bunch of other Revell kits but most stuff went fairly fast. I picked up a '64 Chevy donk, a couple of '40 Ford coupes and a bunch of the aforementioned wagon kits. Now, I wish I had picked up a couple more of the '64 Chevy's.
