welcome harry, glad to have you with us. i built lots of semis in my late teens and early twenties, but have not built any for myself in the last 7 or 8 years, but i do like the subject very much. they are harder to find nowadays, and ebay is a bad place to have to end up Disapprove, i do beleive amt has a re-issue of a kenworth cab-over , on the market right now, have you seen it? I built rigs in my teens, but they are so expensive now, and my funds are quite limited, so I have to do without, but sure love looking at them!

Hmmmmm, I have a couple of trucks in their boxes that I bought in 1971 while I was overseas. I started both of them (one a cabover and one a long nose), but got derailed by transfers and other comittments. The trialers have never been built, but the tanker has been started, I think. The cabover has a custom pint job with a red cab with blue horizontal stripe and white stars within the stripe; button tucked white vinyl interior, and workable steering. The long nose (Kenworth I think) is painted a light blue, but should be done better or clearcoated.

I don't think there's much chance of me ever finishing these vintage trucks, so I am wondering what they might be worth. I have the original boxes, too.
