Posted by PauliesRATRODZ on Saturday, September 7, 2019 7:19 PM

hello, im working on a 1972 ford pickup, going with a old school theme, want to put mirrors that are small and hang down from the top of the doors something like on old 30's hot rods, or like a motorcycle mirrors, any ideals where online i might be able to purchase them?

These are fairly simple to fabricate.  Use a piece of round sprue or rod, drill a small hole in it, glue in a piece of wire, cut sprue and wire to size, bend as needed, paint with your choice of chrome or whatever color you want it.  to attach it to the pick-up door, just drill another small hole the same size as the wire and glue it in place.  Hope this helps.

I build models because I can't afford the real thing!

Have a look in the Revell 49 Mercury, the chopped top custom version, the side mirror there may be what you're looking for.  Cheers
