How to save money on supplies
Posted by Wild Bill 426 on Thursday, March 28, 2019 11:56 AM

About a year ago a friend in the business sent me on an unexpected journey that has saved me money.  Item one: the clear plastic pipettes you use for paint and thinner.  They're sold by a big name for about $1/each on a card.  Through amazon, i bought a box of 500 (almost identical) for about $15.00.  Now i use them all the time; it saves a lot of wasted paint and reduces chances of spilling.  I also got small marked clear plastic cups to help dilute things.  Most recently, I decided to look up microbrushes, which are about 40 for $6.00 most places; Amazon is 500 for $7.49.  There are more, I'm sure, with free shipping if you belong to Prime.  Having these supplies in bulk saves time and product, and they're as close as the monitor you're using to read this.

Cheers Bill. I especially like the tip on the pipettes.
