Posting pics could be simpler, but the forum software doesn't permit it.  For now, you will need a photo hosting website like IMGUR or Fotki or one of many others that are out there.  I would like to suggest that you do a search on your favorite internet search engine and search for "Photo hosting web sites" and find the one that will work best for you.  Follow their directions for creating an account and uploading photos to to their site.  Copy the img code used for forums and paste it on your reply on the forum.  Once you've done that a few times, it will become almost second nature to you.  Trust me when I say that it not really that difficult.  Until we have a MAJOR change in the forum software, this is the process that we have to use.

Thanks for the reply.  I am using Imgur. The only thing i can think of is I copied the wrong image code for forums and pasted it on the reply on the forum.I guess I'll just keep trying. one question, does the image code get pasted into body of the post?

That is correct.

There is no doubt the forum's photo posting process is outdated, but I think the biggest problem is the photo hosting sites themselves. Each site seems to have its own way of managing photos and copying the proper IMG code, and on many sites the method is not at all intuitive. Unfortunately photobucket was one of the few that got it right, but then came the photobucket debacle.

I was a successful photo poster on this site for well over a decade using PB to host photos. It was easy, and they were by far the most recommended hosting site to newbies asking how to post photos, but then PB peed in everyone's corn flakes and we all scrambled to find a new hosting site. I tried several, some free but I also paid for a year of service to two of them, and I had a difficult time getting photo posting to work on this forum. On one of the paid sites it took dozens of tries before I figured out how to find and post the right link, and then after not doing it for a couple of months it took multiple tries before I could do it again. There is no need for it. It would be easy for a hosting site to make image posting on another site dead simple, but every site designer seems to want to invent their own way of doing things. What they really need is to stop wearing their posteriors as hats.

In their mis-guided attempts to develop individuality and a unique online experience, the photo hosting sites have created this problem.

Perfection is achieved not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.
