Looks like a mid 70s Ford to me.

This is a '75.

Other than the color, it look's a lot like the "Family Truckster"  Chevy Chase drove in the movie "Vacation".

( Just where was the gas cap ??? )

Dont worry about the thumb print.... paint it rust and call it battle damage.

Soon to be on the bench...

Given how limited the choices are, if you want one in 1/25 you should plan to do some major scratchbuilding. Fortunately, since the cartoon is more "inspired by" than "exact recreation," you have a little wiggle room. You may want to consider something like AMT's Cougar for the front end, and any of the Chevy wagons as a starting point for the rest of it.

Modelhaus used to offer  several Chevy and Ford station wagon's, but you know what happened there .......

"rare" kit? no such thing!

build it, dont let it sit on the shelf.....

you cant take it with you, hearses dont have luggage racks......

The Family Guy car is based on a 1975 Ford LTD.

My favorite color is clear. I am also ambidexterous, I can screw up equally well with either hand. I am 53 years old and been building for most of that time. :)
