clear plastic adhesive

A couple of years ago I read about a thin double-sided tape that someone was using to secure clear plastic in car models. I use it regularly but don't remember what it's called or where I purchased it.  Can anyone help me find it so I can order more?

I would suggest starting at a home improvement or hardware store and see what they have in stock.  You may have to try looking in several stores as inventory varies greatly from store to store.  If you are looking online, try doing a Google search or whatever search engine you like to use and start searching there.  Some sources can be Uline or Amazon.  As far as a hobby related store, I don't know of any stores or suppliers that have this type of item.

There is a place that adertises in SA, that sells a very narrow, thin, clear double sided tape that is made just for kit glass.

I can't remeber their name.

I'll check several issues of SA to see if I can find it. Thanks for your help.
