Wow! Tons of great stuff there. There were a couple very fine examples of fade paint jobs. The 1:1 hot rods for reference was a nice touch. Man, I've got to get myself to one of these large shows one of these days. Many thanks for posting, Bill.

Hhmmm... google says 21 hrs 7 mins from my place to Detroit. Four tanks of gas and about 12 cups of tea should do it.

Great pics Bondo Bill. Glad you posted them, I didn't get a chance to go to the show.

Bainford, wouldn't a trip to NNL East in Wayne, New Jersey be a shorter trip for you? Great show as well.

You are correct, sir. A mere 13 hrs 58 mins/1433 kms. I haven't investigated which shows are closest, though the NJ show would seem to one of the easiest to get to. However, it is high time I got myself to one of these large shows.

It takes me 12 hours to get to New Jersey for NNL East so you wouldn't be far behind. Usually 1000 models on the tables and many, many vendors. Don't get me wrong, Detroit is a great show. Often go to their NNL in November which is also great and also closer at 5-6 hour drive.
