Best pickup kits for crew cab
Posted by olschoolkid on Friday, February 02, 2018 5:41 PM

Hi, I was wondering what kind of pickup kits you guys recommend for building a crew cab out of. I am looking for something that would be easy to build and not cost too much.

I haven't worked on it lately but I did a 55 Chevy extended cab by combining 2 Revell 5 window cabs.  Seems like most any truck with mostly straight sides would work.  There is still going to be a lot of cutting and fitting regardless.  Biggest expense will be 2 kits so you have 2 cabs, unless you can make a deal with someone.

Go for it!

The Monogram F-250 kit was one of the easiest for me. Since it already comes as an extra cab, you can cut it behind the doors and extend it into a full crew cab.
