Anyone ever order anything from them?  I ordered 2 bottles of paint and a bottle of primer on 12/11/17 and my order is still shown as processing.  I emailed them 3 times and have not heard anything back.  This is my first order and I am starting to get concerned.

I have ordered from Gravity Colors before, and let me tell you, I had to wait like 3 months before I got my order.  I had no success contacting them via email.  I follow them on Instagram, and was able to get ahold of them via the private message feature.

Hope this helps.

I will never claim to know it all.

I just ordered from them about 3 weeks ago and took about 10 days to get the paint. Sometimes they are out of some colors and it takes a while for them to get them back in stock. I hate to say this but sometimes they aren't the best at getting back to emails, one time it took about 3 weeks to get an order to me. To be fair it take about a week to get the order from coast to coast.  The paints are so good that I am at the point thats all I use anymore.

I've been waiting since October 11 2017. Got in touch with them via web page on nov 29, they replied that day, and said it should take only a couple weeks to make it to Ontario Canada. Talked to a few other peopl, and they waited 3 months. I will give them a couple more weeks.

Nope.  I've sent 2 more emails.  The more I send the nastier they get.  I wish I could find their phone number.   If they would just respond, I'm not in that big of a hurry it just pisses me off that they won't reply.

Thanks Mike.  I'll wait patiently.  If this wasn't my first order I wouldn't be concerned and to be honest, I not in a big hurry to get it I have several models I can work on until I get this order.

I've been watching this thread, as I sent them an inquiry with no response as well.  I have to ask though:  How does a business allow their email and web server to go down for almost 2 months??  I get that they are a small business, but yikes!  Allowing that to happen could put you out of business real quick.

Got my order yesterday, they even threw in an extra bottle of paint.  I finally got hold of them by going to their facebook page and using the messenger.  They apologized for the delay, they showed all of their December orders had shipped.  I can't wait to use these Saturday.  I will buy more from them if it is as good as everyone says it is.

sprayed some plastic spoons with the paint and absolutely love it.  Also, I ordered 3 more colors late last week and they were delivered yesterday.

I used it for the 1st time last night.  As much as I like Tamiya, this paint was even better.  It will be my go to paint for bodies.

Just curious, what's the smell like on these paints, compared to say Tamiya rattle cans?  Are they better or worse?

I'm tempted to try these, but worried about the toxity of them compared to Tamiya lacquer.

First off I have a paint booth and use a respirator.  It doesn't seem to have the strong odor that some lacquers and rattle cans do.  I know model masters is really strong and Tamiya is fairly strong but this was not strong at all when I was walking out of my room.  About a half hour after painting, I went in to see what it looked like dry and there was very little fumes at all.  This is a dryer paint too, it dried in no time at all.  So far, and I've only used it once other than painting some spoons, I'm really happy with it.

If I ever take the time to learn how to post pics, I'll take some pictures and post them.

Sorry Jimmy, just one other question:  What clear did you use?  Gravity's?  If so, what is the 1 stage or 2 stage?  The 2 stage seems way too toxic for my liking, so I'll likely go with the 1 stage.

Ask all the questions you want, that's what these forums are for.  I haven't cleared it yet.  Going to try to get clear on it tonight.  I have some Model Master lacquer that I love that I am gong to try.  I haven't tried any of Gravity colors but since I am going to use mostly their paints on the bodies, I'm probably going to order me some along with some chrome.

I switched to Gravity 2k clear and will not go back to anything else.  Nothing is even close to 2k clears.

I used Tamiya clear and it was a matte finish.  Is this because of the paint?  I've used Tamiy lots of times and it has always been a glossy finish.  I did use some of the Gravity primer and some more paint.  I swear I think you could pour this stuff on and it would look good.  Lays down perfect.  I ordered some Chrome and some of their 2K clear Saturday.

Sorry to rain on their parade, but the customer service at Gravity Colors is the absolute worst. I know it has been discussed before, but give me a break.....been trying to get my first ( and last ) order squared away since last December. I get absolutely no response from the website or Facebook page...emails etc totally ignored. I don't care how good their paints are, the aggravation is not worth the trade off. Save yourself a real hassle...look elsewhere for your paints.

Did you try Facebook Messenger?  That's how I got hold of them.  Since then, all 3 of my orders have shipped immediately.  I send them a message shortly after I put in an order with the order number and they respond that they are putting it in the mail.  I know they told me their system showed all December orders had shipped.

I received my order, but it was wrong. My problem is no so much that, it is their total lack of communication.

Truthfully, I’m not real Facebook savvy...a little old to get real involved with that.In desperation, I did create an account and tried to message them...I‘ve heard nothing from them and don’t believe I should have to jump through hoops in order to get what I paid for. I’m done with them that’s for sure.
