1/16 Buddy Baker ‘73 Charger

I picked this kit up super cheap but want to build it as a custom car rather than a race car. Anyone have any ideas for creating the cockpit tub? I’m going to buy some shapeways parts, but I’m struggling with the tub. Try and get another 1/16 tub and modify to fit or just scratch build one?

You might be better off picking up the "Street Charger" version of that kit. Same body, chassis, and engine (minus the blower), but has a full interior tub. I built one a couple years ago...

Get some sheet styrene and create your own side panels.  A little ingenuity and you can craft your own door handles, window handles or power window buttons.  You can also sculpte the side panels with smaller matching pieces for both sides and glue those on top of your side panels.
