1969 Oldsmobile?
Posted by KWT on Thursday, April 20, 2017 6:03 PM

Looking for a bit of insight...

Can someone tell me, are these relatively one and the same kit? Is the AMT just the MPC kit rebranded or a different beast entirely?

Information, stories... good and horror... about building. Any and all info you care to share.

Thank ya much!

All the same kit. Builds up quite nicely, and makes a great chassis donor for AMT's 69, 70 and 72 Chevelles.

It's a pretty straightforward model to build, no problems I can remember. I'm working on one nor. Weakest point is tub style interior, the rest is darn good,

KWT, I agree with Prowler! The built model below is not a W-30 but I have one waiting in the wings. Its a very good kit and I don't remember any issues with it! Good luck with yours! Cool

If you cannot have a good time, what kinda time can you have? JR

All are the same and extremely easy build. Turned mine into a Cutlass hardtop. Had the whitewalls and chromed the grille inserts so it was very straight forward and easy. Enjoyed the kit.
