Metal file

So I want to princess auto (Canadian equivalent of harbour freight)  The other day and I found what looks like a pin vice  only it is bigger and instead of putting small drillbits inside it it has a bunch of different shaped metal files that you can put in it and the best part is it's hollow so you can store the different files that are included inside the pin vice

I use similar files that have separate rubber sleeve handles, and are very good, but I've not seen them in an enlarged pin vice here in the UK, but can imagine it being pretty good. I can only think that slows you down changing every one whilst working on a model.

Interesting find. I haven't seen this but I will keep an eye out. Princess Auto is a good place to find a variety of model tools. I have a couple sets of tweezers from there, rotary tool (Dremel) bits, I recently replaced my pencil torch with one from PA. Heat shrink tube, solder, dental picks, the air pig for my compressor and all the fittings to set it up,etc are other model building PA finds. I make a point of taking a cruise through the store once in a while to see what I can find. You never know what will be there.

Thanks for the tip.
