Looking for an opinion
Posted by rabidscoobie on Wednesday, December 31, 2003 2:29 PM
This is AMT's 68 Camaro. This is my first attempt at rubbing out paint, I havnt used any future on it yet.The hood is scratchbuilt completely, the SS grill was an aftermarket part.If the tail lights look crooked its ok they are permant yet.Just looking for others opinion on how this is looking.

What is Future? why im asking is cause i only use what the Automotive supply has and they do not use this stuff. Sound like some kind of wood working stuff.

Future Floor Wax.Its clear acrylic finish that puts an awesome shine on a finish.Oh and this was painted with acrylics. My 1st time using acrylics, always used enamels..not really happy with the acrlics though.

Future is clear acrylic floor polish, some modelers like to use it as a final coat or to do a nice clear coat on the clear window pieces.

That looks good. The finish on the body doesn't appear to need a clear coat from what I saw in the pictures. Big Smile

Well i airbrushed it but the results were not that good so i brushed it on carefully.I try to only make one pass with the brush so that when it dries it will not show brush marks. If you mess up with tthe future just use windex and t comes right off with no harm to the paint. I think when I airbrushed it the future seemed to be drying to fast and looked kinda like orange peel...not sure happened there, any one have any suggestions?
