63 corvette wip
Posted by Starting_over on Sunday, March 19, 2017 9:48 PM

Ok so i started on this project and decided to use the revell 67 conv. Chassis for my 63 split window. my first hickup was the front cross member on the 67 and the notched 327 motor from the amt. Filled all that in and repainted. But now fitting the motor to new chassis and putting the interior tub dont quit wamt to work together. And one have some suggestions on this. Im currently racking my brain.http://s1378.photobucket.com/user/Eric_Anhut/media/20170319_173941_zpsxrhaeqb8.jpg.html?filters[user]=146221163&filters[recent]=1&sort=1&o=9

First off, welcome to the Forum!  Secondly, for displaying your Work-In-Progress (WIP) of your Corvette, please post your build in the the appropriate section like Race Cars/Sports Cars or Muscle Cars.  Third, when posting pictures from Photobucket, use the URL code instead of the Direct code.  The URL code will post the picture itself.

I wonder why you are using the chassis from the '67 Corvette for a '63 Corvette?  Does the "67 chassis have better detail?  Anyway, I hope my suggestions help you out and enjoy your time here on the forum!

Mr mike i actually just figured out how to do the picture thing but thanks. as for where to go to post a wip now i know for next time, but will post it there now that i know how. And im using a 67 chassis because im going side pipes with my build and the amt chassis had the rear mufflers and also i wasnt to thrilled on detail with the rods for the wheels and tires. Plus a few other things. Being new at this i keep running into problems but ive come to the right place cause everyone has been very helpful.
