I really need to stop buying, but these three will be delivered to my door for only $42 total. They came from different places, but $42 seemed too good to pass up for the three of them.

Finally got me an Orange Blossom Special II kit.

Put one together on Christmas break with I was 10.

Can't wait to put it together.

High octane

You got a good deal on that Mr. Norm's Dart as I'm askin' $20 for mine. Back-in-the-day I bought a brand new '69 Super Bee from Mr. Norm's Grand Spaulding Dodge. I still have the paperwork, but not the car.

Should have kept the car and ditched the paper work! Big Smile

Got one of these at Hobby Lobby today.  Glad they finally started carrying them.  Can't wait to try it out.  Also bought a Tamiya 1/24 Enzo Ferrari kit for $18.00 which included shipping.  My first Tamiya kit, pretty excited about that also.

Do any of those kits have the "dog food bowl" hub caps?  If so, what would you take for them?

Finally found a Mr Norm's Dart kit at a good price. Paid less than $15 for it and it is a factory sealed kit. I now have the '68 Hemi Dart, the '69 Dart GTS, and the Mr Norm's '68 Dart. Once I get them built it should make for a nice display. I might even pick up another '68 Hemi kit and then do one stock and one street rod or race.

OK. Thanks, guys. I’m not a big ‘55 or ‘57 Chevy lover, unless they happen to be gassers. I always thought the ‘56 was a better looking car. The Revell ‘59 Caddy is already on my ‘want list’. I also need a ‘65 - ‘70 Impala body style kit. Don’t have any yet. I’ll add the Revell ‘65 to my list. If you’re going to get one, might as well get one that is known to be a better kit. Right? Wink

These are some really nice kits too Steve.

The Revell '59 Caddy, '59, '60 & '65 Impala, '55 Belair, etc from this period were on the cutting edge of American kit manufacturing when they came out.

They're still some of the best kits out there in my opinion.

Picked this up on eBay last night. I gave $5 more than I had really hoped. I have a list of "wants" and use it to browse eBay and other online sites. I had gotten some more dreary news from my doc's nurse yesterday so was feeling a bit low. Decided to go online shopping to cheer myself up. It was worth every bit of the $5 to get that little, cheerful boost from the purchase of a new kit. Hate to admit, but I'm an awful lot like I was as a young kid when it comes to new kit purchases.

Two things have ended on my front door mat this afternoon, from ebay a 1/43 Citroen 2CV with grooved bonnet design about 1938 so my search tells me, the design not the age of the kit!...........

And this.........it has taken just 8 days from Oz to here in the UK, after resin casting by ResinBlob64 (Glenn Polkinghorne) for me.

The Uncertain 'T' was produced by Monogram many moons ago.

Those are cool. I'm getting schooled. On how to post pics by my stepson. Soon as I find an easy free host.

Just a couple of thoughts. First, free is good. I like free. But don't discount websites that charge a small fee. I know that a few of us use Fotki for posting our photos. I do and have had ZERO problems with their site or their policies.

Next, from some of your previous posts it appears you might be trying to do everything on a smart phone. You might want to reconsider that and instead use a PC. I have over 30 years in the computing industry and I'll be the first to admit that I really struggle trying to do even simple tasks on my phone. What you see on your smart phone isn't necessarily what you see when you're on a computer, on the very same website. Generally, there will be more instruction and things will be more apparent on the computer versus on the phone.

Just a thought.

The mailman just delivered this. I wasn't in the market for another one, but I was browsing eBay a few days ago and saw this one. Delivered to my door for under $14. I just couldn't resist. This one might get painted and finished exactly like on the box.
