Got this in the mail today.. Other than a case of coffee, it's the only shopping I did this weekend.

The  postal carrier must have finished reading the latest (Dec.) issue of Scale Auto and decided to deliver it to me today. Looks good as I like the show coverage and also the ERTL article.

So buy your wife a new car, and let her pick it out. She'll love it and you might like it also. My wife drove a Buick, a Chrysler 300, a Ford Edge, and decided on a loaded Ford Taurus. After 5 1/2 years with only 60,000 miles on it she still loves the car that she picked out.

Actually, that's kind of the plan. Then I get her old truck.... that I bought for her in 2014.

And just paid it off last Jan.

Dont worry about the thumb print.... paint it rust and call it battle damage.

Soon to be on the bench...

Picked up this little display cabinet at Goodwill the other day for $7, I'll add a few more shelfs and changed it to plexi or glass to accomodate more models.

My birthday was on the 31st but we couldnt get to town untill today so while shopping at Harbour Freight my wife met me at the checkout stand with this.

I told my wife that I didn't have any airbrush paint ( I have TON"S of paint ) and managed to score these as well.

With Christmas coming up I now have to come up with a new car for her.

I didn't get the latest (Dec.) issue of Scale Auto as yet. Guess I'm not on the "A" list?

Could we see the contents of the Ford GT kit?

Here you go,the kit is missing a few parts but it is a second kit and therefore no worries.

Jim Haught did a great job on this Contest Issue as always and it will be interesting to see what our new editor comes up with next year. Of course I do order the contest issue every year sight unseen, and never been disappointed.
