Well, I didn't get these all today, but within the last two weeks:

Revell '59 Impala Hardtop

Monogram '59 Cadillac Convertible

Monogram '78 GMC Sport Pickup

Johan '64 Cadillac Coupe DeVille

Hasegawa Jaguar XJS V12

Academy European Classic Car (aka Ferrari 250 GT SWB California Spyder)

Replicas and Miniatures of Maryland engine and interior kits for above Ferrari.

The last two haven't arrived yet, but oooo, I can't wait...

We had a hobby shop owner come to our model car club meeting and he brought stuff to sell which the members really liked. He also gave a short speech about the hobby and took questions. I picked up another Polar Lights Batmobile snap kit and and AMT Opel GT which will eventually become a "gasser."

To add to my stash of rally cars, a Tamiya Toyota Corolla WRC. This was from a model shop because on Ebay thay are too expensive specially when so many have the phrase 'Buy it Now', that's not an auction which ebay is supposed to be!

I was at my favorite hobby shop today which has a vintage section with old OOP kits. I bought a JoHan 1968 Ambassador Convertible. Box is practically in perfect condition. The model has a broken windshield post which is easily repaired. No tire burns and the chrome looks freshly made. This one will eventually be built. (Hey, I can hear you collectors gasping for air right now) It's going to be a detailed bone stock build. Paid way too much money for it, but the amazing thing is, the wifey was standing next to me as I pealed off the 20s to pay for it.

So you were at the "Empire" today and you only bought ONE kit? I figured that you would have carted off about six kits.

Nice. Two days ago, I got a Revell Peterbilt 359 (snap tite reissue) at Michael's with a 40% off coupon for $13. I'm contemplating on kitbashing it with the old AMT California Hauler 359. I'll probably keep the Cat engine in it. I know it's sacrilege, but my California Hauler was missing the sleeper and the chrome is shot. The wheels and tires were glue bombed and looked hideous.

Just now I scored a Revell Peterbilt fire truck. It's missing instructions and decals. Anyone built this kit and still have the instructions? If so, post pics and let me know if you have a set of instructions you are willing to part with.

Can't wait to see what you do on that transporter. Imo, you should put the mopars on the transport trailer. Got any pics of your latest score? Can't wait to see 'em.

Streetrodnut my plan is to change out the GMC to a Dodge CNT 1000 and load the trailer with 5 or 6 of my 1968 Mopars I already have. I will post pictures later tonight.

I got a set (5) of Finescale MG TF narrow multimedia wheels with photo etch spokes and tyres. These will go on a Beetle that's just had it's wings chopped off.

I didn't get anything today which is a good thing. I have unbuilt kits, paints,  glue, resin kits, aftermarket resin parts, pre-wired distributors, phot-etched parts, BMF, and of course tools. So what I really need is to get MOTIVATED and build some of these kits, instead of buying more. Will I ever build all the kits that I have bought, sure in my wildest dreams. Guess I'm lucky that I didn't get anything today.

Within the last week I got a Round 2 '51 Chevy convertible, a un-painted, un-broken, complete AMT '64 Imperial convertible built-up, and today my AMT parts pack containing four pairs of pad printed M&H Racemaster slicks showed up in the mail from GMScustoms...They are AWESOME, and I can't wait to use them on something! If you guys get a chance, you need to buy summa these...

Also, I hope that they will release a few sets of different pad printed street whitewalls, and maybe some pad printed muscle car tires too. That would be too cool

Saturday I bought some Revell kits; 62 Impala, Yenko Nova, and SS Nova at Michaels. The two Novas were on Clearance and I used a 50% off cupoun from AC Moore to buy the Impala, the total for all three was less than $40 with the 7% sales tax.
