I got the Molotow Chrome pens yesterday in all 3 sizes. Can't wait to check them out and see what all the fuss is about.

Got these last night, for my birthday...

And got this back from the paint shop this past week... painted in nitro lacquer.

Happy birthday to me! Can't wait to put it together and jam!

Got home last night to find these in the mailbox from a friend.

Those are awesome prowler... I was always a fan of F14's. Built a few when I was young, but have no idea what ever came up them.

I got a '78 Volkswagon Sirroco!   Cool

Why?  I'll tell you why!  It's the best model to represent the original "Dawn of the Dead".

It was the car in the middle of the mall display from a dealership, that they hotwired and used to cruise around the mall and shoot zombies.

Prefered one of the BP trucks, but they dont have a model even close.

Now have to find some 1/24 figures I can convert to make peter Washington and the gang, and/or might make a zombie from the scene where it was hanging on the rear bumper being dragged around.

A big THANK YOU goes out to glooz for this one!! Thumbs Up

I've been meaning to find one of these for a while.

My wife and I had a couple of old friends over last weekend to see our new place. I showed him my man cave with the work bench and then my "stash" in the closet. Last night he called and said he had found a factory sealed kit left over from his son's days of building. Wanted to know if I wanted it and refused to accept any payment. Ya can't say no, can ya?

As my name is Patrick and It's St Patricks day you can rightly assume it's my birthday! So my wife said buy what you like for your birthday and I opened both the box from the USA with the Aurora 1/32 Scale dune buggy................

Still with the pressure sealed wrap on it, opened it up and wow, what a kit from 1976!

All I will do is give all the plastic parts a warm soapy wash and the decals a quick PC scan and a couple of coats of clear gloss, to make sure that they don't disintegrate when they touch the water on lay-up. If they doo I will just print another set onto clear decal paper.

The second I got was from 'kitsforcash.com' as they have a resource of many previously owned kits. I've seen one of these on ebay.com for $174, down from $199!

This one cost me £30 plus £6 postage and packing. Totally unused and standard and made in 1965 as moulded on the inside of the top, one that I'd been looking for for a couple of years!............

I've already scanned the decals and sprayed on 2 coats of clear, and tomorrow I'll wash the plastic parts in soapy and clear water and let dry normally.

Looks like a very interesting few months!

It's a great kit too Steve.

I couldn't begin to tell you how many of these I have built over the years.

It was always one of my favorite kits.

I got some photoetch wire looms for use on some of my builds. This is the first photoetch sheet I have purchased for use on my models. I do have to admit that when I look at those tiny little parts I have doubts about being able to ever use them. Time will tell, I guess. They sure are little! Sigh

I use photo etched parts now and then, some scripts for the fender, and also hood pins, and seat belt hardware. Yes the parts are tiny and I always have my tweezers handy. I also use cutters made for photo etched parts and they work great when seperating them from the trees.

Got another piece of the Barracuda project in the mail today. The AMT ‘71 Duster kit arrived. It has the 340 I’ll be using. Still have some more to get bought, but getting more and more of it all the time.

Can't wait to see the build, have you noticed how strikingly similar the Duster & Cuda frames are. The engine compartment also fits if you add material to the wheelwells. When I did this conversion there where very few mods to make things fit. just sayin' Trainwreck.

No, I haven't really opened either kit up and looked at them. I'm just getting my feet wet with the 2010 Challenger. It's going real slow, but I knew it would. I'm trying different things and buying things I see or read about to try and assist me. It'll be a while yet before I jump in with both feet and really go after this hobby. Way too many new things to learn about and buy. I just ordered a bunch of supplies and tools this morning. More great stuff to make the hobby easier for me.

Just picked up the MPC Barracuda kit needed for my notchback conversion. I now have all the kits I need. Just waiting for the 10" steelies and I'll order them along with the N50 tires.

Just showed up on my door step today.

An original Johan '64 Dodge Polara annual.

Missing a few parts, but they should not take long to find.

I got 2 boxes today! Probably made the mailman mad since he had to get out of the vehicle in the rain to put the packages on the front porch. I got the MPC ‘69 Barracuda kit that I just won on eBay. Could barely wait to get the box open and start checking parts. I believe the slight problem I thought I had with the front wheels & tires has been resolved. The kit has 3 complete sets of “mag” wheels in it. One set is close enough to Cragar SS wheels that I can use them for the front. The tires are whitewalls, but I can easily replace them with different tires or just either remove the whitewall or color over it. So I now have everything except the 10” steelies for the tribute to my ‘67 Barracuda.

I also got a box of supplies that included the Tamiya paint stand set. I figured it would be a great addition to my bent hangers and toothpicks. Also in the box was some liquid glue, glue sticks, decal setting solution, and a few more cans/bottles of paint. Now if I don’t hurry along and get a couple of builds completed I’m gonna be upset with myself.
