Grumpy’s Vega Pro Stock

Good to see the release of Grumpy's Vega. Does that mean that the Pintos, Mavericks and Mopars are not too far behind? The 1st and 2nd runs are sold out and a 3rd run is already started. I actually foresee the Pintos not too far off since I already purchased 3 resin bodies!! Oh well, that'll just add to my collection!

Too bad they did not change out the Big Block engine for a Small Block engine. This kit is the same as the Twister Vega kit. I built a Grumpy car with this kit and used an engine and trans from a Nova Prostreet Kit.

Most of the Twister carries over, but the kit's not exactly the same, if I may.  Quite a bit of effort was spent on a couple of the new parts you see here:

I generally don't build race cars but I love Vegas and this is close to stock appearance.

Thankya Tim!

Saved me the trouble.

As best I can make out, the tubbed undercarriage/interior parts seemed to come online with the Bruce Larson car to carry through the Twister, and the pics of that '74 body shell show a more serious effort than the '72 "Toy" ever got - till now.

I welcome any correction of the record...
