New GT40 you cannot get.

I'm not quite sure this is the right place for my newest addition to my diecast and model collection, but here it is.  I will try to post a picture, but not sure I can still do it, so I'll post a link to my Fotki page with about 15 pics.

This 1/12 scale 1968 #9 GT40 LeMans winner is from a converted GMP #6 1969 LM winning version.  It is a professional conversion based on actual 1968 Le Mans photos and other period pictures.  It is NOT....NOT....NOT the recently advertised RESIN version that will come from China and be available in the future for about $600.

My conversion has all the opening panels and exceptional detail of the orginal GMP 1/12 GT40s.  To show you, I will attempt a link or some photos that really do not do the car justice.  I now have the complete set of the 4 Le Mans winning GT40s.  Let me know what you think, or ask any questions you want.

So, let's try this:

"Help me....I've fallen and I can't get up." models are crushing me. my pics:

I was unaware of any Chinese resin kit of the GT40. However, Creative Miniature Associates are developing a mixed medium kit of the GT40 in 1/12 scale. It looks li!e being a superb kit for very advanced modeller as Marshall Buck does not compromise on quality. Have a look at CMA's website for more information.
