I have about $300.00 coming in the next couple of weeks that is ear-marked for my modeling.  I have about 20 kits right now to build.  I have 2 airbrushes, a compressor and a paint booth. Quite a collection of paint, all the cool tools.  Anybody have any suggestions for how to use it to enhance my modeling or should I just save it for a rainy day?

"what a whopper of a chopper you have there Nigel...... " Mischief

I got my insurance money through Last Thursday and have spent 2/3rds already !

II brought an 'Archemedian screw' hand drill for the1/2 mm drill bits I've had for years

It' a pretty little thing to look at ...

I found a art store in Brighton (mostly cosplay prosthetic stuff & clays etc) they had some silicone mold maker "2 liquid" stuff ,  and evergreen 2mm/3mm/4mm tubing & 2mm rod . No clue what I'm going to use it for , but its evergreen - therefore useful !LOL

Amazon kindly delivered my 2 models ...... I'm going on Hiroboy.com later tonight & will they get an order or 3 .... ( "Isuzu Bellet"  anyone ??)

No. 1 = (£ 15.75 ) 1:24 Revell Motorcraft T-Bird Pro Stock Bob Glidden .

One of the semihemi rocker covers is not on the sprue (Glad I got the silicone nowBig Smile) I might just photograph the chrome stuff & email Revell for a new sprue *Spare wheels & lenco shifter !*

No 2 1:24 ( £ 7.49 !! ) Mistercraft 1950 Alfa Romeo Alfetta ( Fangio / Farina ) Strange ... Before P&P / Tax it was £6.66 . .... ! ... . . The three numbers on the car are 6's too . Devil in a triangle ....  AND ITS RED !

The box sounded very rattly , so I opened with care . OH DEAR ! most of the sprues were devoid of parts , all there , but loose (???)

The wheels ...well Super Angry, (they're getting replaced)  - 2 peice , inner sections & tyres are not pretty & don't even mention the excuse for the wires ! its a disc of transparrent plastic with highlights that resemble crossed wires.

(I can't believe I haven't resorted to expleitives yet ! )

Body & motor are very basic . Chassis is part of the belly pan.

" You get what you pay for !"

no. 3 brushes . wheeeell , what else can I say ...

no.4 1:24 '69 Honda CB750 . Stock . Brown metallic . 4 into 4's .

I'm ... going to "Retro Cafe Racer" it !

(clip ons , ally tank , flat -brown leather ribbed  seat & 'steel toe cap' rear light housing oh & 4 into 1 open exhaust  with heat wrap down pipes -made from sticky fabric plasters ) Stick out tongue

I can't have something that nice next to my rat rods now can I ???Smile, Wink & Grin

There's also a big box of 1:64's from modelmatic on the way too....

AND warhammer 40k soldiers for a diorama...

and a new matress (& comfy =expensive - underwear from Marks&Sparks ! ! Shhh ) TMI Spen TMI ! LOL

When I get the weekly shop I try to get something modelling related,so some alloy foil for damaged bodywork - I find that the easiest way to replicate damaged metal is to use metal!

Hiroboy order :- Isuzu Bellet GTr , some fat '70's style wheels 'n' tyres (4 spokes) and a bag of turbo's !

£1,500 out of 2 1/2 g. gone already . OOPS !! ( not ALL  on cars ... )

I also brought some old dinky / matchbox 'wrecks'  Baja bug/manx etc - found a Ford GT70 ??! I never knew existed  & all in the 50p box as well !! Smile, Wink & Grin

Modelmatic (1:64 fine detailed like greenlight & M2 ) got a £65 order too .

Some specials have swapable wheels , I have a '50 Merc with painted - or chrome- steels , flipper caps & chrome moon style caps . Three other cars got the wide whitewalls & caps now .

OH! & a Catilac Deville  50's caravan with awning too . Cool for a diorama .

Started on the Alfa . Naff casting & incredibly basic .

Need to find some suitable skinny wire wheels .....

Toying with the idea of turning it into a flathead V16 saltlake modified .

Might upset the purists again Mu Ha ha ha !MischiefWhistling
