I was just looking to purchase this kit.  You don't explain what the issues are....can you elaborate please?

marcusadam

Bob seemed to enjoy building it...

Thanks; I did enjoy it. While I realize they've simplified some assemblies, most of that is in areas that are not seen. You can't open the engine hood on the real car, nor the model. There are aftermarket (mostly Plamoz) parts available to improve on the basic kit detail, including mesh and better wheels/tires. Take the time to build this kit nicely and it's a great looking model. It's also the only plastic kit of the 570S, I haven't even seen diecast in 1/24 scale. My LHS had the kit for $28.00.

revell also makes a snap version, which isnt much different.i agree it builds nice, just too plain.its too close to the snap version.their kits are losing on detail in past few years.

Just ordered this kit.  I love what Bob did with this and I already have the paint for it.  The upgrades will help as well.  Now if they only would make a dedicated carbon fiber sheet for it.  Keep building!
