Sorry mm don't know much about the back story, just read about the stats. It's got a c5 'vette front subframe & susp. a 4 link 9" in the back, major tin work and a stretched wheelbase.   Trainwreck.

I've already got a showroom stock 1956 that I built from the Revell kit combined with the AMT 1953. I'll buy one of these to build as the Foose truck and the kit looks like it may also be a good candidate for a parts donor as well, especially the suspension and running gear.

Originally I was plannin' on buyin' that Foose truck, and then I looked at my "stash" and saw that I really don't need another kit to build. While there are a few (very few) kits that I'm lookin' for, the Foose truck is not one of them. Of course if I never find the kits that I'm seeking, that's okay too.

I definitely look forward to the foose f100 kit. I would not mind building one box stock and kitbashing one with Amy's ancient '53 f100. Wonder if the foose kit will have a chopped top? When it hits the shelves, that will be a lot of fun finding out.

Hope it's more than a "56" with a set of over sized wheels

Oh you'll be getting more than that. Here's a little more info to shed some more light on this: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/119185-125-revell-ford-fd-100-pickup/

The Foose '48 Caddy looks great as I saw a built up of it at the Milwaukee NNL two weeks ago. We're lucky to have Revell set up a display of new and upcoming kits at the NNL most every year. Thanks Revell!

Well thats cool as all get out. I didn't even know model cars mag was still going.and I had a build on the cover years ago. Can't wait for the caddy or the truck and Lord knows I have plenty of kits but like ones that have never been issued. Like from mobieus well I just can't resist. B4 I got ill I met chip when I was on leave at the Ford show in Anaheim . visited with him several times  bout doing my 72charger. But thats when I made 180k a year but illnesses ate that savings up. Any how the cover was Nov 2002 and Mark Gustafson has the truck at the national model car museum. I combined a 50 Chevy truck with the 57verge and a starboard predicts with a 62 Bellaire frame and ohc pontiac 6 suicide doors side flip hood it was cool that was my last complete build b4 I got deployed.

Picked one up last week at my LHS and have it in primer as we speak . What a beautiful kit of Chips actual truck . It's not a stock 56 with custom parts but rather a dedicated custom of his truck . When completed there will be no leftover parts , which is a bummer for the parts box . But these kits are cheap enough to promote serious kit bashing , and let me tell you , as a blank canvas this kit is hard to beat .

Unique features of the kit are it's killer stance and the Foose wheels which are well done . The Rouch racing engine is also well done with headers and full exhaust . The roof on the body is done in two pieces to get the correct domed look....OUTSTANDING job Revell , it looks fantastic . All the moldings are top notch with the usual seam lines . Of note are the lines around the front fenders and at the corners of the body . The interior is well done in a tuck and roll style with decals to give it a two tone look . I'm building it out of box and should have it done by next week . Maybe I'll do a matching twin for the upcoming Classic Plastic show hmmmmm.

Take care and see you around the clubhouse ,

                                                            Steve D.

good. they did that with other licenses and it seemed, well, cheaty.

i'm surprised they could swing it past the accountants though, as it seems like it'll be fairly limited to 'custom' rods and such, once the whole Foose thing is done.
