Revell 66' Chevy Suburban
Posted by andrewwjohnson on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 1:06 PM

It's do out during the first quarter of next year and, from the box art, is based on the 65'/66' Chevy pickup tooling.  As with the pickup trucks the wide white walls seem out of place on a mid to late sixties vehicle.  Painting the tire inserts flat black or substituting period correct thin white walls can solve that minor problem.

It's not hard to think about a number of light commercial and other possibilities from a family grocery getter to a police or fire rescue truck.  It could also make a good shop truck or a surf truck.

I'm not sure if I would purchase the Suburban kit, however I do like drag cars and the Suburban would make a good tow/push car for a dragster....................

and I already have the dragster built as well, so???.....................

They are here. I picked one up today at Hobbytown USA in Rockford IL

Most of my money goes for bow-ties, bikes and babes.  The rest I just waste.

That's a cool kit.  I also liked the new bronco kit. The Revell Volkswagen  kit is awesome as well. It has a headliner inset. How cool is that? This are fine times gentlemen.  Buy up!

Somebody do a review? Please?

My favorite color is clear. I am also ambidexterous, I can screw up equally well with either hand. I am 53 years old and been building for most of that time. :)
