It is quite simple, really.
See, I can even quote myself! Simply hit the "Reply" button just below what you want to quote. Then when the composition box shows up, scroll to just underneath it and hit the "Quote" button. That puts the text to be quoted into your message. These can be edited, too, so you can choose to quote only the relevant part rather than quoting the entire message, pictures and all, which is tiresome and annoying to your readers. If that isn't clear, then I'll try to be of further help.
