How can I delete post?

How can I delete a post I've made now that the subject is closed?

I do not see the delete icon on my posted message, what then?

I've fought with the same problem ever since they upgraded this forum's website a few years ago. The administration (from what I've read) did not feel we should be empowered to delete our own posts....causing the member(s) to consider if they want to post something they may regret latter. The only way to completely delete a reply or topic is to contact the administration and request prepared to give them a viable reason to do so. The other, which will not completely remove your topic or reply is to simply click on the "Edit" button. Once the edit window appears, simply back-space your text to eliminate it. However, there is a catch. I've found that a word of some kind must be present or the system will not accept the revised edit. I simply print the word "deleted". FYI...according to the website instructions, the author does have the option of deleting his/her topic/reply...but it is only available in a very short "time window" immediately after the posting....a matter of only a few minutes. (The "Delete" button appears immediately after you've posted) In my experience, it's only been seconds, at times. There may well be other alternative solutions that I'm unaware of. Possibly contact the administration for further assistance? Taped Shut Fury3

That is very easy task if that thread is still in active state, but when it is closed the post be deleted by only administrator. It will be idea to put a mail to papers help blog administrator and ask him to do the needful thing and delete the posts you have created in that closed subject.
