well this is probaly the most easiest question but since ive just come to this site in the last month or so and am wondering ive seen these posts on numerous ocasions i am wonder ing what CBP means that would help me understand the posts alittle easier thank you
Current project: 1949 Merc chop top custom lowrider....hopefully going through all the parts i have for it.

CBP means community build project, a group of forum members build a similar subject and post the results.

It mean Community Built Project!! Were several modelers get together to build the same kit or do a built following a certain theme!! The are open to the community for all who wish to participate!! Your tempted now, aren't ya!! Well go on, Join a few!! Wink

Yes it is. You can simply post your idea in the proper thread, and give the rules, such as starting date, ending date, what is allowed, what isn't, etc. Good luck!

It may pay to 'feel' the waters first, just to see how many people are interested. There are quite a few running right now, it may pay to either wait for one or two to finish or give it a long time for completion so whoever is in another build can complete that first.
This is why the 'Spares Box CBP' has been running for such a looooong time!
