spell-check
Posted by Anonymous on Tuesday, January 20, 2004 3:47 PM
Andy or Jim,

Is there anywhere that spell-check is abvailable? I'm not the most gramatical person, but when I re-read my posts, its amazing how poor my spelling is. I know that the purpose is not for us to scrutinize others...this is more for myself (and my self esteem).

Thanks!

http://www.iespell.com/ Here's a nifty freebie. Once installed, all you do is rt click in your text box and select "Check Spelling". It works pretty good!

Maybe if people would take 30 seconds to reread thier posts, they would catch 90% of the spelling mistakes! And it's not just the misspellings, it's the use of CAPITAL LETTERS, which is reserved for either yelling at some one or to make a point in the message. Proper grammer once in a while would be nice, too. I fully understand that there are people from places other than the US posting here. And that their (not there) use of the language may not be as well defined as ours.

I'm finished griping.

BWWAAAHAAAHAA!!!! Dave, night shift has eaten at your brain!!!!!!!!
Seriously, I have gotten into a habit of trying to reread all my posts cause I am a bad typist, but a good speller, just doesn't translate to my fingers. No matter what board you go on, on whatever topic, you have it all over. Guess you just have to learn how to read around it.

And then there are those posters who don't know how to make a paragraph. 2,703 words...all one long sentence. LOL

Add this directly below it:

Response.write "<script language=""JavaScript"" type=""text/javascript"">checkspells();</script>"

Modify topic.asp
=============================

mypage = request("whichpage")
