Really, you gotta ask?

To Err is human, to blame it on someone else shows management potential.

many years ago when I was single a friend of mine was going to Montreal for the weekend and she asked me if she should bring back something for me. I answered "a girlfriend". She brought back a stuffed frog (I'm french canadian) and the frog's name was Freida. 72 is about how old she looked, the frog that is. I've been using that screen name ever since on various sites.

Anything is possible. How much time and money do you have?

I am native to the great state of North Carolina where the UNC "Tarheels" rule; never mind what the "Dookies" say.  And my first name is Ricky, so there it is.

I build models because I can't afford the real thing!

Mine is hack-n-whack cuz when I joined a local model car club, you had to have a nick-name. I like to "hack and whack" my plastic model cars; hence the name stuck!

I used to race hare scrambles and road a Suzuki RMX.

I want to go out like my grandfather, nice and peaceful in his sleep. Not screaming and crying like the passengers in his car.

Kind of a longish story for me and not very interesting, but here goes.  Great thread, by the way.

When my first grandson was born and starting to make noise, it was driving me crazy hearing everyone telling him to say mommom and say daddy and say mommy so that they would be talked to first...   One day I heard Bob come from him, then again, so I told them that's what I wanted to be called and he said my name first.  It was great. I heard no more of the say mommy and say daddy and say da da and all that junk...

My name is Greg, but when the grandkids are around I'm called Bob by everyone. Bob is kind of a word for grandpa, grandfather and Greg.  Kind of confusing, but...      29579 is my zip code in Myrtle Beach SC.

I warned you it was kind of long and not very interesting...
